2015 Race Results



RACE REPORT – BURNHAM BEECHES RUN 31 OCTOBER 2015 

The 9th annual Burnham Beeches Run took place last Saturday, 31st October. We were blessed with a bright sunny day, although the trails through Burnham Beeches were a little muddy in places. The autumn colours of the trees provided a lovely backdrop for the event. This year for the first time we held both 5k and 10k races.
 
In total 261 athletes took part in what proved to be a competitive race. Andrew Penfold won the men’s 10k in a time of 38:25 and Clair Pusey the ladies in 45:19. Steve Mullan and Ruth Rutt took the honours in the 5k race. Ruth had a great day finishing ahead of all her male competitors!
 
The event is organised by Burnham Beeches Rotary Club and all the proceeds will go to support good causes.
